All the World Rejoices

The season of Advent is a time of hopeful waiting for the birth of the Savior of the world. In the last few years, the world has seen too much violence, fear, division, and disease. The weight of these experiences leaves us weary and longing for the kind of hope that stirs our souls.

Our theme for Advent at Trinity this year is “All the World Rejoices.” In the coming weeks, we will worship and celebrate together. We will tell the story of our faith and put words to our deepest hopes. We will look at the world around us and know again how much we need our Messiah. And we will sing! I hope you will come to church and share in the power and wonder of this season.

This Advent, may our souls feel their worth.
May hope outshine fear.
May joy replace sorrow.
May we join the whole world in grateful rejoicing.
