Adult Education: The Bible and Race in America

Please join us for a short 6-session class on Sundays taught by Dr. Joel Kemp, Assistant Professor of Hebrew Bible at Candler School of Theology. This course introduces students to the way the Bible has been used throughout American history to construct, support, and challenge America’s racial caste systems—particularly the categories of “blackness” and “whiteness”.
