Speaking of Faith

June 23 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Every year in June, Trinity members get to hear their fellow church or staff members tell the stories of their faith. This Sunday is led by Tony Breuer. Watch the livestream here.

Tony Breuer and his wife Bonny were and are thrilled to have joined Trinity some nine months ago (thanks to Charlotte Lee, Ron Turbayne, Ruth and Paul Marston), and while fairly “new” to Trinity, are not new to this planet. Tony was recently commissioned as a Stephen Minister after rigorous training under Cindy Stancil, Scott Calhoun, Paul Marston, and Meredith Daniel. He participates in the Men’s Breakfasts, the Men’s Political Group, and in Rebekah’s Theological Discussion Group. He has participated in two vestries in the past and headed the Artists Guild at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Greenville, NC. Bonny currently participates in the Flower Guild and is a member of the Awakening Study Group at Trinity. She pursues an Acting Career. In the course of a career in Internal Medicine, Neurology and Art, Tony has encountered many situations…which have leant a certain existential flavor to his weekly “diet”. Multiple trips to the wilderness have been welcome relief. He will talk on how he came to understand questions such as “who are you?”, “why are you here”, and “what does it mean to have lived a life worthwhile?”…all in the spiritual domain. The talk will be mostly in images, his art plus photos. Bonny has a daughter, Bonny, here in Atlanta with two sons, Andrew, entering his third year in Orthopedic Surgery in Hartford CT and Christopher, starting a job in San Francisco in marketing research. Tony has two sons, Matt, a professional fly fishing guide and outfitter in Montana, and Russell who founded Spot and Tango, a human grade dog food company and lives in Bedford NY with his wife and three children.
