Caring Ministries
Trinity is called to offer compassionate care to our members and the broader community. We have a variety of ministries that meet you where you are and support you through whatever challenges you’re facing. From our Pastoral Care Team that provides in-home care to those suffering illness to our Stephen Ministry that pairs you with a trained layperson to meet one-on-one, we are here for you.
STEPHEN MINISTRY is a ministry of our congregation in which trained and supervised laypersons, called Stephen Ministers, provide confidential one-to-one care to individuals facing life challenges or difficulties.
Requests for a Stephen Minister may be emailed to stephenminister@trinityatlanta.org or by calling Rev. Tom Farmer.
Support for members and families who are bereaved, hospitalized, or home-bound
To notify the church of illness, hospitalization, need for counseling, births, deaths or prayer request, please contact the Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor.
Anyone needing pastoral care after church office hours please contact the pastor on call at 404-237-6491.
PASTORS’ AID members welcome new babies, comfort those who mourn, and reach out to those in need with visits, cards, food and flowers from Sunday morning worship. Members volunteer to provide a reception in Williams Hall following a memorial service at the church. Contact: Rev. Tom Farmer.
COUNSELING AND ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE provides programming that encourages emotional wholeness within the church family. The committee oversees the use of trust funds that supplement professional counseling fees for members who have no insurance or cannot pay the full service fee. They also work closely with two professional counselors who affiliate with the church and provide periodic classes and/or small groups focused on mental/emotional health. Contact: Rev. Tom Farmer.
VISITATION COMMITTEE extends the outreach of Trinity’s congregation by providing a visitation partner for those unable to attend worship or regular fellowship with our membership. The committee also arranges with the pastors to extend the Lord’s Table into the homes of those who are homebound. Contact: Rev. Tom Farmer.
Children &
Family Ministries
At Trinity, we play, learn, serve, and grow together! We offer church school, worship education classes, mission opportunities, and special events to nurture and encourage a growing faith in God.
Join us as we explore stories from the Bible in an interactive, discussion-oriented setting. Not an expert? Not a problem. This class is for anyone hoping to fellowship with other Trinity members while growing their faith by reflecting on the teachings of Jesus and asking questions. Bring your Bible (and a sense of humor), and let’s grow together.
Children are welcome at all worship services at Trinity. For those who are interested, childcare is available Sunday mornings for children Pre-K (4 years) and younger from 8:45 am until 12:15 pm.
Trinity welcomes whole families into our church! Naturally, that includes the littlest ones. We offer childcare for children Pre-K (4 years old) and younger during worship services, the Sunday School hour, and during select church events. Here are some helpful things to be aware of upon arrival to make the check-in process seamless for both you and your child.
- Masks are optional for all children and adults.
- Childcare check in table is in the Building D entryway.
- To help keep everyone safe, parents should NOT enter the classrooms.

Mission Ministries
Trinity Presbyterian Church Mission Council is committed to strengthening and supporting local, global, and denominational communities. We award local grants that focus on building capacity, advocacy, and programming in human services, education, justice, and sustainability.
Trinity’s many mission partners have a variety of volunteer options with safety and health protocols in place to protect volunteers, staff, and the communities they serve. We long to help in our community, and we strive to keep ourselves, our church family, and our community healthy. Please stay safe when volunteering by following current public health guidelines from the CDC, and our state and local health departments, especially if you are in a high-risk category.
Contact Sarah Wikle, Ministry Coordinator for Mission and Engagement, for more information about mission opportunities at Trinity.
Listen, pray and stand with us as we stand with others.
Music Ministries
Worship is the heart of Trinity Church’s life and mission. By participating in our choir programs, children, youth and adults learn to joyfully sing their faith in a supportive and creative educational environment, and learn to be leaders in worship. We offer choir programs from age 4 through adult. In addition, the fine arts, drama, and visual arts ministries provide numerous opportunities that enrich our faith journey.
We hope these brief musical meditations featuring contributions from Trinity’s music staff, instrumentalists and friends will provide some meaningful artistic and spiritual sustenance as you continue to navigate the uncertain days ahead.
Choir Registration
Trinity’s choir program is open to students ages 4 through 12th grade. All new and returning students must submit a registration form each season. To register your child for choir, please complete and submit the form below. If you would like to register multiple children, please complete one form for each child. Each choir performs during worship several times each year. Choir schedules are distributed in August.
Chancel Choir Registration
Some music reading ability and prior choral experience are helpful. A simple, informal audition is required.
To schedule an audition for the Chancel Choir, or if you have any questions, please call the church office or email music@trinityatlanta.org.
Trinity Church’s Music Ministry offers a 1987 Petty-Madden Organbuilders, Inc. Opus 22 in the Sanctuary and a 2005 Petty-Maden Organbuilders, Inc. Opus 53 in Dobbs Chapel.
Check our Events for upcoming music performances that include our organs.
