Join Faith-in-Action and fellow friends for advocacy days under the Gold Dome. Each event kicks off at 8 am with breakfast at Central Presbyterian Church and continues through the morning. Everyone is welcome, but registration is required. Prior experience is not required, as these gatherings include issues briefings and advocacy/policy training to help you prepare for your moments with your senators and representatives. This annual event, beginning with breakfast, is sponsored by the Georgia Water Coalition, an alliance of more than 250 organizations committed to ensuring that all water and waterways are safe, protected, and managed equitably for all Georgians.  2025 Legislative Issues and bills include a moratorium on risky mining near the Okefenokee, protecting Georgia’s drinking water from toxic PFAS contamination, and ensuring safe disposal of Georgia’s toxic Coal Ash waste.
