Longest Night Service
The Advent season brings some of our deepest hopes to light, but it also reminds us of the losses and grief we carry. On the longest night of the year, we will gather together to rest in the darkness, looking toward the light of the coming Christ. Join us for a service of prayer, readings, and music. We look forward to sharing our wonder and seeking rest and comfort together. Please contact Lucy Strong, at [email protected], with any questions.
Evensong
Evensong is a traditional service of around 40 minutes held at sunset to allow worshipers to reflect on the concerns of the day and prepare for rest. We will worship in candlelight in Dobbs Chapel, sharing music, readings, prayer, and quiet. Join us for this sacred moment of reflection and preparation.
Blessing of the Animals
Bring your pets to Magnolia Circle for a special blessing of pets on Sunday, October 6, between 4-6 pm. Please leash/contain pets as needed and be mindful of your animal’s level of sociability. If you’re able, please bring a bag of dog or cat food to support the Meals on Wheels Atlanta Food Pantry. We look forward to seeing you and your furry (or scaley) friends!
